The role requires you to handle all of the accounting and administration needs of the company, including the preparation of financial statements. You will report directly to the CEO and works our CPA firm to prepare financial statements and tax returns at the end of the year.
In this role you will handle the full cycle of accounting duties. This includes coding and entering vendor and expense invoices, running checks, billing customers and clients, collecting receivables, preparing bank deposits, ensuring that the correct general ledger accounts are debited or credited accordingly. You will process employee timesheets, run payroll checks and prepare monthly and quarterly tax returns. You will handle all of a company’s banking needs, including reconciling monthly bank statements and monitoring cash flow.
The minimum education requirement is an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting combined with a minimum of 7 years experience in the field. This is not an entry-level position. Advanced QuickBooks accounting software training and experience is required.
